Academic Units with Affiliated PhD Programs

The CNBC maintains affiliations with a number of departments and programs, and is open to participation by members of other units on both campuses. Listed below are those departments and programs with which the CNBC maintains official affiliations for the purpose of joint involvement in the CNBC’s graduate training program. Most CNBC faculty and trainees are affiliated with one or more of these units, but there are some individual members of the CNBC who are affiliated with other programs as well. Funding for the CNBC comes from CMU’s Neuroscience Institute and from the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research at Pitt.
